EastEnders Stacey Slater's link to Christmas death 'sealed' in new Six trailer

Stacey Slater is put front and centre and her link to the Christmas death has been 'sealed' in a new EastEnders trailer.
The much-loved resident of Albert Square - played by Lacey Turner - appears in a brand new trailer for the BBC soap. Each of the Six women are expected to get one of these before Christmas rolls around and we learn who has died.
Back in February, the Six women - Stacey, Suki Panesar, Sharon Watts, Linda Carter, Denise Fox and Kathy Beale - were all shown standing in the Queen Vic, a dead body on the floor. We know it's a man, but not who he is, how he got there and whether his death might be accidental or whether he has been murdered by one of The Six or someone else.

The soap has been releasing a trailer for each woman during a big storyline for them, but so far we have only seen Denise's. However, tonight, as Stacey's stalker hell went up a notch when Theo Hawthorne held her hostage, the show dropped Stacey's trailer. Captioning the short video, the soap's official Twitter account wrote: "In a flash, everything changes… Don't miss #EastEnders. Monday - Thursday on @BBCOne & @BBCiPlayer. #Stacey #TheSix," as fans rushed to share their theories.
In the trailer, Stacey can be seen putting on her red lipstick as she stands in front of a mirror which reads "in a flash". In the next clip, she can be seen stepping back in horror - what has she seen or what has she done? The mirror now reads the words "everything changes" but the glass has been cracked. Does this hint that the Christmas victim is related to her?

Back in February, Lacey discussed who she thought might be the Christmas victim. She said: "When we first had the meeting about the storyline, I immediately thought it was someone who wasn’t in Albert Square yet.
"I don’t think it’s a character that is actually on the show at the moment, but the more that time goes on, and the more the six of us have chatted away, I feel like it’s an accidental death. I don’t think it has been done on purpose, and I think that it’s more of a group effort rather than one sole person, and if it is one individual, then I think all of the women are covering for them. I think we all might know something we shouldn’t know and we’re all covering for each other, and maybe the person hasn’t been killed? In terms of who meets their fate, I have a certain person in mind at the moment, but I think my guess is too obvious and I’m probably wrong."
