Ozzy Osbourne's family share an optimistic health update on the star's recovery

After a long string of concerning reports about Ozzy Osbourne 's health, his wife and his daughter shared that while he's not quite ready to return to the stage, he's still active in music. They provided other crucial updates on his health.

In mid July, Ozzy was seen leaving hospital after he cancelled his appearance at a music festival and the music legend has revealed he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Plus, he has an ongoing spinal injury from a bike crash in 2009 that was only only made worse by a fall at his home in 2019. Now, wife Sharon and daughter Kelly confirmed that Ozzy is still "living life" and "making music".

His daughter, Kelly Osbourne, told the Daily Mail : He's got Parkinson's and a terrible spine surgery and he's still getting up every day, and still making music, and still doing singing lessons."

According to Kelly and Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, he's still the same hilarious Ozzy fans known and love. Kelly explained that she moved back home to help during his health struggles. She half-jokingly said that she's her father's "b**ch" and he calls her to "do everything at any time of day".

Sharon confirmed, calling Kelly his "in-house waitress". Ozzy asks Kelly to put in food orders and has them sent over. Despite needing a little extra help, Ozzy is still in relatively good spirits. Kelly added she looks up more information for him when he learns something new off of YouTube. "He's very funny," she said.

She continued: "He's in a real alien kick right now. This morning, I came down to get a bottle for the baby because I was staying with my parents for the last couple of weeks and I found him watching live court hearings of the UFO trials. It's six o'clock in the morning!"

As for his relationship with his new grandchild, Kelly expressed that they love each other. Her son, Sidney, makes Ozzy 'happy' when they have 'papa minutes'. They spend time together daily.

Sharon and Kelly opened up ahead of the release of new episodes of The Osbournes Podcast. The project features the entire family chatting about various subjects. However, sometimes Ozzy had to be absent.

Kelly said: "Some days, Dad didn't make it because he was not feeling great or whatever. But Ozzy's done about 20 of his own shows with his friend, Billy Morrison, and they discuss everything from nuclear bombs to squirrels."
