Gemma Atkinson gushes over Gorka on special milestone amid Strictly rehearsals
TV and radio presenter Gemma Atkinson has shared a sweet family birthday celebration for husband to be Gorka Marquez as he heads back into Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.
The couple recently became parents for a second time, welcoming son Thiago into the family alongside older sister four-year-old Mia. Gemma and Gorka, who met during the 2017 series of Strictly and got engaged in 2020, have been proudly enjoying time as a family of four.
As Gorka prepares for the 2023 series of Strictly, Gemma threw him a cute birthday 'surprise' which involved a delicious looking caramel cake with the word 'Papa' on it alongside presents. Posing for a family snap with Mia and baby Thiago in tow, the family of four beamed for an Instagram snap.

Happy (almost) Birthday @gorka_marquez It’s funny the only Birthday of yours we’ve actually spent together was 2017 when we were both rehearsing. We love you so much and are so proud of you! Keep being, young, foolish and happy."
The mum of two added: "And thanks for eating the part of your cake that Mia put her knee in after crawling around a kids play area all morning".

A smitten Gorka replied: "love you!! Thank you for my surprise" alongside heart eye emojis.
Fans also got stuck into wishing Gorka an early happy birthday, as one commented: "Gorgeous pic! And happy almost birthday to Gorka!" Another added: "Happy birthday Gorks, have a great day! Can’t wait to see you back on that dance floor". A third wrote: "You're such a gorgeous family...Happy Birthday for tomorrow Papa Gorka".

TV presenter Angela Scanlon hinted at her partner on Instagram as she shared a video with fans as she revealed she's been partnered to "a really good dancer" but kept her lips tightly sealed on who. The Irish presenter told her fans in a video: "This is the face of a woman who found out her Strictly dance partner. It's a man. I know, and he's really good at dancing!"
This year's star studded Strictly is set to be an exiting series with a host of famous faces including TV presenter Angela Scanlon, Bad Education actor Layton Williams, actor Les Dennis, tennis player Annabel Croft, former EastEnders star Nigel Harman, World and Paralympic Champion Jody Cundy, Coronation Street star Ellie Leach, BBC Asian Network’s Breakfast show presenter Nikita Kanda, former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas, Love Island star Zara McDermott, EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, British-Congolese comedian Eddie Kadi and Channel 4 News anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Angela Rippon, who will be 79 when she takes to the dance floor later this year, was also revealed on The One Show alongside Sherlock star Amanda Abbington.
