BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst shows off huge home makeover on maternity leave
BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst has showed off her major home makeover while on maternity leave.
The journalist said she "had to give up holiday" for the expensive home renovation as she updated her 24,000 Instagram followers about her new home refurb. The TV presenter is currently on maternity leave after having her third baby earlier this year. Fans of the star have been following her home makeover journey on social media through her posts.
Nina shared a story on her Instagram page where she showed off her new windows and wrote: "Windows day and the chance it won't be -10 with the heating on this winter." She posted a close-up of the windows and said: "It was a foreign holiday vs windows this summer, and windows won."
The 42-year-old is then seen holding her newborn baby as she went makeup free in a follow-up snap as she continued to discuss her home makeover. She wrote: "Cosy winter ahead and dreams of Italy 2024."
Nina has also been renovating her garden. She posted a video where she bragged about her garden "achievements" whilst showing off her stunning patio. The TV star went on to joke about having her own gardening show after discovering her new found skill. She captioned the stories: "And these are £1 B&M bargain wildflowers. I literally chucked the seeds down.

Nina recently posted a heartwarming video of her father meeting her baby daughter. Nina and her husband were already parents to two sons, Digby, seven and Michael, five. The proud grandfather whistled to his baby granddaughter in a sweet video shared on Instagram, which Nina captioned with: "Still got it," in reference to his parenting skills.
She also tagged @DementiaAdventures in the post, as her father was diagnosed with dementia last year and Nina has spoken openly about how it has affected their family. In a previous post Nina said: "Dementia is tightening its grip quite quickly now, Dad is losing some basic skills and is increasingly reluctant to go out."
