Iranian Hulk shows off new physique amid regret over embarrassing boxing fight
Social media superstar Iranian Hulk has shown off his new physique a year on from his embarrassing boxing match against Kazakh Titan.
Hulk, whose real name is Sajjad Gharibi, only lasted a matter of seconds in his first boxing fight against Titan, Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich, last July in Dubai. Gharibi took almost a year away from social media after the nature of his defeat, but has since returned to Instagram to share occasional training videos with his near one million followers.
A new video shows Gharibi exercising in the gym and taking his t-shirt off for a physique reveal. He captioned the post: "Maybe if I showed up with a new physical strength this year, last year [would have] never happened. Change in physical appearance and increase in physical strength I’m training hard every day to become the strongest version of me."

Gharibi also seemed to confirm his return to combat sports for Czech promotion Red Face as he will be competing on September 9. No opponent has yet been announced for Gharibi, but the promotion has teased a fight for him by posting several training clips on their Instagram account. Red Face hosts a variety of fights from traditional MMA bouts to boxing matches in a cage.
Iranian Hulk shows off nine-month transformation after embarrassing boxing debutMany fans of Gharibi's are convinced he edits his pictures, with their theory seemingly proving true when the Iranian wore a baggy t-shirt for his fight against Bakhytovich to cover up his physique. It was clear that Gharibi wasn't training properly for the fight as most of his posts were of him weightlifting instead of training boxing.
Several of the alleged 'altered' pictures were then deleted from his feed. Gharibi even lost a deal with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship as the promotion expressed concerns about his legitimacy, but he eventually signed a deal with Wicked 'N' Bad for his fight with Bakhytovich.
Gharibi was linked to a fight against strongman rival Martyn Ford in 2021 at London's O2 Arena with the pair even facing off in Dubai to promote the fight. He was towered over by the 'World's Scariest Man' and sent flying by a push during their staredown. Ford withdrew from the fight as he feared for Gharibi's mental health, something the Iranian threatened to sue him for.
