Tom Brady cryptic message after Gisele Bundchen divorce and Irina Shayk romance

NFL legend Tom Brady has posted a cryptic message on his social media amid speculation surrounding his romance with Irina Shayk following his divorce.

The New England Patriots icon's split from Gisele Bundchen was confirmed last October during an eventful year in which was also his last as an NFL player before he retired at the end of the season. The 46-year-old former quarterback was rumoured to have struck up a relationship with new flame Shayk back in June.

The Birmingham City investor was among the A-Listers in attendance at the wedding of Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick earlier this year. Also present at the nuptials was Russian model Shayk, who previously enjoyed a four-year romance with Hollywood household name Bradley Cooper.

This is the first summer the six-time Super Bowl winner has been able to enjoy his summer without the need to think about the upcoming season since first being drafted. Following 23 glorious years as an NFL player, it is clear that the world-famous star is enjoying life following retirement.

He has crossed paths with some of the planet's most recognisable faces in the form of Kim Kardashian, while also having taken a trip to see Birmingham City play after taking out a stake in the club. He also has been pictured on a yacht in the Miami sun as his former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates prepare for the new season.

After such an action-packed year, it is only understandable that Brady would take some time for personal reflection and the superstar took to his Instagram page to post a veiled message to this end. Sharing a passage penned by Diego Perez, he seemingly had been taking some time to digest what has been a hectic period in his life.

The passage presents nine principles that hold "great power", with these including "healing yourself", as well as "fostering deep connections". In response to the passage, Brady said: "Love this thank you for sharing @yungpueblo," while adding three red heart emojis.

While Brady was sunning himself in Florida, new love interest Shayk was taking a holiday of her own in Venice alongside ex-partner Cooper and their daughter. The former NFL star also co-parents alongside his former spouse Bundchen and is said to be fully supportive of Shayk due to his understanding over the demands of parenting.

A source told the Daily Mail: "Tom thinks it is great that Irina has a co-parenting relationship with Bradley because Tom has his own co-parenting relationships with Gisele and Bridget, so he is not jealous one bit when Irina hangs out with Bradley and their child.

"Tom actually loves seeing it because Tom is such a family man, he knows what Irina is going through and respects her even more being a mother and dealing with all of that, because it isn't easy. It is actually attractive to Tom to see how strong of a woman and wonderful mom she is, he respects it."
