S Club's Jo O'Meara has posted a rare photo of her 15-year-old son Lenny during a gruelling workout.

The 44-year-old is currently preparing to go on tour with the famed 90s pop band, alongside Rachel Stevens, 45, Jon Lee, 41, Bradley McIntosh, 41, and Tina Barrett, 46. In a post on Instagram, Jo stunned fans as she shared the snap of her rarely-seen son, and revealed they were worn out following the sweet mother-and-son workout. “We call it workout Wednesday lol… How did my Lenny become a man so fast!” she captioned the post.

“He's putting me through my paces getting me tour ready! Not long now…. Hope you're all having a wonderful week,” Jo added. The photo showed the singer looking puffed out and sweating, while her son Lenny was flexing for the camera. Her 58,000 followers were surprised by how quickly he had grown up, with one remembering when Jo gave birth to him. “When did he become a teenage boy? Yesterday you were introducing him in Hello Magazine,” they commented.

“What in the World!!!! When did this happen???” another added. “My goodness I can't believe that's your son! When did he grow up so fast?!” one stunned fan wrote. While many others commented on how incredible Jo looked, with one adding: “”Like mum and son strong family couples.”

“Looking amazing girl!” read another complimentary comment, as another heaped praise on the former Celebrity Big Brother star: “Your Lenny has certainly grown up so fast, Jo. You must be so proud of him. He has inherited your good looks.”

Jo welcomed Lenny with her former partner Bill Slater, but the couple split in 2008 after two years together, with the singer insisting that she had made the right decision to part ways, even though they had a young son. “Even though I'm classed as a single mum, I've got my family and friends and the father is going to be involved,” she told People, as she explained that Lenny wouldn’t grow up seeing his parents arguing. “I think we've made the right decision. If you stay in something that won't be happy, that's not good for the baby.”

S Club 7 announced their long-awaited reunion earlier this year, with the S Club reunion tour set to kick off in October. However, their exciting news was overshadowed by the tragic death of band member Paul Cattermole in April, leaving fans devastated. Hannah Spearritt, 42, then dropped out of the reunion, with the remaining band members renaming themselves S Club, and recording new music in July.

The pop stars paid tribute to Paul in a touching post on social media as they reunited in the recording studio, and said they were “creating new memories” to honour him. “Missing you every day, Paul. Thinking of you always, creating amazing new memories in your honour. To our incredible fans, your unwavering support has meant the world. We can’t wait to celebrate the Good Times with you in October. Love always,” the caption read.
