Arsenal's transfer business looks to be done in terms of arrivals, but several names could still depart.

The Gunners dropped points for the first time this season at the weekend with Mikel Arteta still looking to offload several fringe players that are no longer part of his plans. Finding buyers has been tough with several individuals potentially leaving on loan.

Arsenal played with a relatively small squad last term and Arteta's favourites are well known, leaving those on the periphery to look on. The likes of Marquinhos, Kieran Tierney and Charlie Patino have all moved on temporarily and more could follow before Friday's deadline.

Here's the latest from the Emirates.

Balogun departs

Folarin Balogun has completed his Arsenal exit by sealing a move to Monaco.

The forward, who excelled in Ligue 1 on loan last term, was not in the starting picture at the Emirates and wanted to play regularly. Monaco will now give him that opportunity with a deal worth £40m completed on Wednesday night.

Arsenal said in a statement: "We thank Folarin for his contribution to Arsenal, through our Academy into the first team, and wish him the best of health and happiness in his new chapter at AS Monaco. The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."

Luton eye Holding

Luton remain in the market for new defenders following a difficult start to Premier League life and could make a loan move for Rob Holding, as per the Athletic.

The Hatters have continued to ship goals and could turn to the Arsenal man, who finds himself down the pecking order. Holding came into the fold last term after William Saliba picked up an injury, but found himself copping criticism and remains a squad player in the capital.

A move north to Kenilworth Road would offer Holding considerably more game time with former Manchester United man Axel Tuanzebe also looking to land himself a deal at Luton having arrived on trial.

Tavares-Forest deal agreed

Arsenal have agreed a deal with Nottingham Forest that will see defender Nuno Tavares head out on a season-long loan, which could become permanent.

The full-back, who is out of favour at the Emirates, which saw him head to France on loan last term, is set to bank the Gunners £2m whilst Forest could make the move permanent by paying a further £12m, reports the Evening Standard.

Arteta ruthlessly hooked Tavares in a crushing defeat at several seasons ago and the young defender has never been able to force his way back into the fold, leaving him with little option but to move on.
