EastEnders' Molly Rainford's real love life as she causes stir with Bobby
EastEnders star Molly Rainford has officially moved onto Albert Square, and it's already starting to throw up some interesting storylines.
Molly's character Anna Knight and her family have taken over the Queen Victoria pub - including dad George Knight, sister, Gina Knight, and George's partner Elaine Peacock. The family come into an already complex situation, with George's ex-wife and Anna's mum Cindy Beale coming back from a 25-year absence on the Square with Ian. The Knight and Beale families have plenty of clashes and history in Walford, and it's only starting to get messier.
Most recently, Anna has received romantic attention from Bobby Beale - who killed his and Anna's shared half-sister, Lucy, back in 2014 - which is likely to throw up a lot of controversy and drama on the Square once she finds out about his history.
Molly's love life, however, is much less dramatic than her EastEnders counterpart's - with the actress settling down and gushing over her partner in recent months. Molly's blossoming romance with radio DJ Tyler West began after the pair met on Season 20 of Strictly Come Dancing last year. During her time on the show, Molly was paired with dancer Carlos Gu and made it all of the way to the final before eventually losing out to Hamza Yassin and his dance partner Jowita Przystal.
Tyler, on the other hand, was paired with Dianne Buswell and left the show halfway through the contest. However, Molly and Tyler reunited on the subsequent Strictly live tour earlier this year. Strictly is usually known for the 'curse' that destroys relationships, but every so often it helps people find love - and that's what happened to Molly.
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessTheir relationship blossomed towards the end of the Strictly tour after spending so much time together, Molly says. Speaking to Fabulous Magazine about her new romance, Molly said: “I suppose it developed towards the end of the tour because we’d spent so much time together and we were really good friends.
"The tour was so much fun. We were just doing everything together and it just progressed from there really.” She went on to explain that Tyler ultimately made the first move and asked her to go out with him on a date once the tour was over. She added: “He was like: ‘Do you think when we get back, we could go on a date?’ and I was like: ‘Yeah, alright!’ I was totally up for it.
"Everyone on Strictly was so excited for us. They kind of wanted it to happen [all the way through the show] and we were like: ‘No, we are trying to be professional’.” She said that they even continue to practice their dance moves together, saying: “We dance all the time… Maybe one night, we will try some lifts, but first we need to put loads of mattresses down!”
At first, Molly and Tyler stayed silent over their budding romance - only to see their relationship made public when loved-up snaps of the couple emerged. It wasn't long after that the pair confirmed their romance to the world. Speaking to the Mirror previously, Molly said: “I’ve never dated anyone in the public eye before. I don’t know if it’s something more just yet. He’s a lovely boy. I just have to see what happens.”
