Playboy's Hugh Hefner's son joins OnlyFans and reflects on childhood in mansion

Hugh Hefner's son Marston Hefner is joining the family business but with a modern twist - joining OnlyFans.

Marston shares his father's view of nudity, telling Fox News Digital: "It's like, OK, so people don't want to make money off of getting naked. There's nothing wrong with getting naked. And so there is an opportunity there where it's like, if I get naked, and I'm not doing anything that's hurting anybody, and I can make money off of it [that’s] groovy."

While the nudity is a common theme, there are of course some very big differences to his late father's magazine - Playboy. For starters, the content keeps up with modern times and has the ability to be more graphic. Additionally, content creation is very independent and creators don't require the name of a large brand to propel them forward in their career.

Regardless, Marston still has that big name and legacy. He also enjoys the independent nature of OnlyFans, referring to it with the same as casual off-handedness as someone might for Instagram. In fact, he even said: "OnlyFans is kind of like Instagram for me."

He also sees it as a "diary" where he explores his passions and love life. He identifies as bisexual, saying he falls in loves with a person rather than just their body. Marston said: "And so, it's like my passions are part of what makes me attractive and interesting. And so, I treat it like a diary. Or you can look at my life, and if you want to see me nude, go for it. If you want to get to know me, go for it."

His childhood in the Playboy mansion influenced his perspective on OnlyFans and he believes his unique upbringing didn't hurt him. He said: "What it taught me in my life is that one, doing something different is OK. If people think negatively about it, as long as it's OK with your ethical moral system, it's OK to do things outside of the box."

Marston explained that growing up, nudity was all around him and normal. Even his own mother was a Playboy legend, Grace Caroline Hefner, and nothing in his life made him feel wrong or weird about that because it wasn't "sensationalised". He also reiterated that the household "wasn't a crazy nude party all the time". Apparently, there is more behind the scenes than outsiders may think.
