People have been left in hysterics after a man got Donald Trump's mugshot tattooed on to his leg just hours after he was arrested. A tattoo parlour in Las Vegas, Nevada, has shared how one man decided to get the historic image inked on his thigh, just above a tattoo of the Statue of Liberty holding a gun.

Showing off the tattoo on Instagram, artist Vegas Vic Tattoos wrote: "I know mugshots, this is the best mugshot, truly great mugshot! Sleepy joe doesn’t have a mug shot, but believe me, it would be a terrible mugshot!"

Commenting on the post, the South African man who now lives in Las Vegas wrote: "I love it bro! Thank you so much for this masterpiece." While most users couldn't help but laugh at the artwork, others commented on how quickly they managed to pull it off.

One user said: "This is so dope. You did a fabulous job!" Another user added: "The teardrop is the perfect touch [laughing face emoji]." A third user said: "That was too quick... sheesh." One more user added: "Lock him up! Lol"

However, not everyone liked the portrait, with one user saying "Oh gross. What's wrong with people?', while another added: "What a moronic thing to do! What are you going to do next, add prison bars over it?"

When analysing the mugshot, a body language expert claimed Trump tried to come across as "intimidating" and "defiant" through the image. Former cop Darren Stanton claims the mugshot shows the former President believes he will be acquitted of all charges.

Stanton, who has a degree in Psychology and has appeared on The One Show and This Morning, drew these conclusions from Trump's eyes and eyebrow positioning. He described Trump as “easy to read” as he “wears his heart on his chest”.

Trump’s mugshot was taken when he was arrested at Fulton County jail in Atlanta on fraud charges - following his interference in the 2020 election and accusations of inciting violence from his supporters. It is the first time a US President has ever had a mugshot taken.

Stanton notes the eye contact which is “held fixed right into the lens”, and says this was “clearly decided on by Trump to show his accusers and the world that he is showing defiance and he believes he will be acquitted of his charges”.

The next notable feature in the mugshot, Stanton explains, is the eyebrows which are “pulled together and pulled down”. He said: “This is the emergence of anger/defiance expression. We get this intense stare, so emotionally he is showing anger, defiance and denial.”

“I teach officers and people in frontline security this emotion, people who could be potentially dealing with volatile people. That is how we would practically apply this observation in the real world,” Stanton added according to BitcoinCasinos. Furthermore, Trump’s forward head tilt in the photo is designed to “make his glare even more intimidating to his accusers”.
