Ranvir Singh stunned as Greg Wise makes Emma Thompson confession

Greg Wise made a hilarious Emma Thompson wedding anniversary confession during his appearance on Monday's Lorraine.

The Crown star, 57, appeared on the ITV chat show to talk about his new role in the play Never Have I Ever by Deborah Frances-White. As a fun challenge, guest host Ranvir Singh decided to challenge Greg to a "clean" version of Never Have I Ever the game. Ranvir, 46, also decided to join in with the game with the first question being: "Never have I ever Googled myself?" to which Greg exclaimed: "Oh come on, of course!" with the two stars both responding "I have".

Greg, who has been married to legendary actress Emma, 64, since 2003, then made a hilarious confession, adding: "Can I tell you, I Googled myself probably three or four years ago because I forgot which date our wedding anniversary was." Ranvir was left stunned over the remark as she quipped: "You had to Google what date you got married? That is brilliant!" with Greg hiding behind his sign as he joked: "The seat of shame!"

Greg is best known for his role as John Willoughby in the Oscar-nominated 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility – the film on which he met his wife Emma. In 2021, the star swapped his acting skills for the ballroom floor as he competed on Strictly Come Dancing, where he was partnered with professional dancer Karen Hauer. They were the third duo to be eliminated.

Strictly fans were left delighted during the series as they spotted Emma in the audience with her daughter Gaia supporting Greg. As Greg and Karen took to the dance floor to perform the American Smooth to Frank Sinatra's That's Life, the camera panned to Emma and her daughter as they cheered Greg on.
