A New York City middle school teacher has been charged with raping a 14-year-old boy - and some of the messages she allegedly sent him have now been revealed.

The boy claims that 33-year-old Melissa Rockensies, a teacher in Queens, twisted his trust to take advantage of him after she began filling in to teach at his school.

Earlier this week, Rockensies was charged with rape, criminal sexual act, and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 years old. She denies all the charges.

The teen says he began emailing Rockensies over issues he was having with another child at school.

He told the New York Post: “I feel like she took advantage of me because of my age and I was vulnerable with her. I felt comfortable with her. I’m smart but I don’t make good decisions. I work off of impulse. If someone says let’s go do something I’d say all right let’s go do it.”

He claimed the mother-of-three began messaging him on Instagram, and over a year sent numerous inappropriate messages which he claimed she also asked him to delete.

The charges against Rockensies included allegations that she exchanged sexual social media messages with the victim and met with him for sex in her car. If convicted, Rockensies, who has pleaded not guilty, could face up to seven years in prison.

Rockensies allegedly wrote in her messages to the boy:

  • “Oh and delete the chat okay love you byeeeeeeee.”
  • “You’re gonna be lucky once I put this kid to sleep."
  • “I want you so bad and now I gotta go read kids books like …wtf.”

She also allegedly wrote: “Study up on your technique and I’ll be moaning for you all day and all night daddyy” and “I wanna be able to kiss those lips of yours.”

The teen said he was shocked when the teacher, who has posted online about helping kids understand consent, first abused him.

After allegedly exchanging hundreds of emails, the pair began messaging on Instagram. The boy claimed that Rockensies ultimately suggested they meet up in person at a supermarket.

He said they went on a walk in a park afterward, where the teacher hugged the boy “really close” and said “she wanted to kiss me,” the teen recalled, noting she followed through and kissed him.

Rockensies’ husband, William, claimed that his wife is innocent despite prosecutors revealing disturbing details about her allegedly abusive relationship with the teen. He added: “She’s been a big part of the community at her school. We all support her. We’re saying she’s innocent. I won’t elaborate any further why.”
