Amanda Holden has shared a sun-kissed snap with her rarely seen sister while filming the second series of Amanda & Alan: The Italian Job with pal Alan Carr.

The 52-year-old posed with younger sister Debbie, 51, and her lookalike daughters Lexi, 17, and 11-year-old Holly as they enjoyed an alfresco meal out as a family at the La Serena Hotel in the coastal town of Forte dei Marmi in Tuscany.

“A big GRAZIE to the gorgeous newly refurbished @laserena_foretedeimamri for hosting a wonderful few days for my girls and sister whilst @chattyman and I filmed series 2 of #Italianjob... they made us feel like family #boughtandpaidfor,” she captioned the post followed by sunshine and lemon emojis.

Her girls and sister flew out to see her during a break from filming the BBC show, which follows Amanda and Alan as they renovate a one Euro house and sell it to raise money for charity.

But it didn’t look like Alan was invited out to Amanda’s family dinner this time, as he commented on the post: “Wish I was there!” And fans and her celeb pals couldn’t get over how “beautiful” Amanda’s family are. Former Gogglebox turned TV star Scarlett Moffatt wrote: “You all look so beautiful xxxx.” Interior designer to the stars Kelly Hoppen commented: “Gorgeous.” And TV presenter Eamonn Holmes posted six clapping hands emojis.

Fans were also quick to comment with one calling the group a “Bevy of Beauties!!!!”. “What a beautiful group... hugs to Debbie,” another wrote. While a third added: “Looks gorgeous. Tuscany is beautiful.”

Giving fans a further glimpse inside her Italian summer, Amanda took to her Instagram stories to share videos and photos with her 2 million followers. One clip shows her on a bike ride with eldest daughter Lexi, who has hopes to become a model when she is a bit older.

Another snap showed Amanda in a white dressing ground flashing her tanned legs as she stretched out on a sun lounger. She captioned the picture: “Morning coffee at @laserena_foretedeimamri.”

She also posted a reel of the stunning interiors of the boutique hotel the family were staying in, which had a huge terrace and outdoor swimming pool. In a final snap on her hotel room balcony, Amanda posed in an off-shoulder yellow sundress which she teamed with tan sandals and aviator sunglasses.

Fans will have to wait a bit longer for series 2 of Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job to drop on the BBC, but the first series – which was their own idea – was a huge success and pulled in 4.5 million viewers.

It saw the pair each buy a flat next to each other for a Euro each under Italy’s One Euro Scheme. The rundown flats were in Salemi, half an hour from the capital Palermo were then transformed into one home. Over three months viewers watched in wonder as the pair knocked down walls, plastered, wallpapered and helped lay floors and tiles while choosing all the decor and furnishings.
