Saved By The Bell's Elizabeth Berkley and Mark-Paul Gosselaar looked totally different as they reunited during a rare appearance at a nineties convention.

The duo, who played Jessie Spano and Zack Morris respectively, were teenage icons when fans watched their characters navigate through Bayside High School in the 90s sitcom. Elizabeth and Mark-Paul were only 16 and 15 years old when they first appeared on the show.

It's been a few decades since they were saved by the bell, but Elizabeth, 44, and Mark-Paul, 49, are still in contact and most recently had a reunion at a convention in Hartford, Connecticut. Elizabeth took to her Instagram to share a glowing selfie of the pair looking out of this world.

"I had the best weekend meeting forever fans and catching up with some amazing artists who also have been working hard since they were kids too..." she captioned the post. "Not to mention, they all happen to hold a special place in pop culture for their amazing shows that have long been a part of people’s most treasured memories from childhood. This one right here is a part of mine."

Mark-Paul looked classically handsome in the selfie as he smiled at the camera. He rocked swooped-back brown hair and brown-rimmed glasses. He also donned a beige henley top and a black jacket. During his SBTB days, he was known for his bleached blonde locks.

Elizabeth, who leaned into him, widened her eyes in mock surprise as she gave the camera a close-mouthed smile. Her skin gave off a youthful glow and she looked gorgeous with long blonde hair flowing over her shoulders. Her hair looked worlds away from her curly brown tresses in the show.

Fans were delighted to see the two together and rushed to the comment section to compliment the two, with one pointing out their incredible skin. "These two have clearly MOISTURIZED the last 20+ yrs … but all jokes aside, we love you!" the fan said. One pointed out: "Always the best skin!!", while another said: "Thank you for doing this! You all are even more beautiful in person!" A follower added: "Love this SO much!! Wish I could have gone. Looks like it was a blast! The 90s and SBTB are forever my favourite and comfort show!"

Saved by the Bell became an iconic series despite only airing for four seasons between 1989 and 1992. Other household names in the show included Mario Lopez as AC Slater, Dustin Diamon as Screech Powers, Tiffani Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski, and Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle.
