EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has posted a rare photo with her fiancé as the couple enjoyed a loved-up outing together.

The actress took to her Instagram page to shared the sweet selfie alongside partner Justin Gallwey, with the pair beaming for the camera as they made the most of the sunny day by the beach. Kat Slater actress Jessie, 51, captioned the post with a series of hearts, while fans took to the comments to say gush about how happy she looked.

One wrote: "So great to see you so happy !!," with another adding: "Love that smile of yours gal keep it up xxx." A third person commented: "you two make my heart melt." A fourth said: "my girl you look gorgeous as always."

The adorable photo comes after Jessie was spotted out and about without her engagement ring. The absence of a ring sparked speculation that the engagement was off but they have since set the record straight.

A close friend of Jessie's told the Mirror: "Jessie simply popped out without her ring on, as she often does if she's working as she obviously can't wear it whilst filming, it's nothing more than that, they're very much together."

Jessie was seen close to her home in north London where she was doing some shopping and going into the butchers. Justin popped the question to Jessie after more than a year of them being together. She announced the news to her followers by simply posting a selfie which she captioned: "My fiancé and moi."

Fans and colleagues of the star commented their congratulations on the happy news. Tamzin Outhwaite wrote: "Congratulations darling. Happy days ahead which you deserve." Lizzie Cundy said: "Aww so happy for you," as fellow Walford star Emma Barton simply commented: "Beautiful."

Lisa Riley wrote: "CONGRATULATIONS great news ." James Bye and Natalie Cassidy each left a series of hearts on the post. Another fan commented: "Big congratulations to you both love to see this xx," as another commented: "Congratulations to you both you suit happy it beams out of you."
