'Embarrassed' Kate Moss wants sister Lottie to 'stop talking about her' after interview

Kate Moss reportedly wants her half-sister Lottie Moss to 'stop talking' to the press about their relationship as well as rumours following her interview.

Lottie, 25, is the daughter of Inger Solnordal and Peter Moss - with her and the 49-year-old model sharing the same father. Lottie made her magazine debut in 2011 when she appeared in Kate's wedding pictures as a bridesmaid. A few years later, she got signed as a model for Storm Management.

Earlier this month, the Celebs Go Dating star admitted being the sister of supermodel Kate helped her get a foot in the world of modelling but claimed the two have never been that close. The TV star told Fabulous magazine: “Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap. I didn’t grow up with my sister giving us money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house. My parents were bankrupt. I paid for my private school myself with the money I made modelling.”

During the same chat, Lottie denied the TikTok rumours about sleeping with married Spencer Matthews at Jamie Laing's wedding. She said the two 'partied together', but 'there was nothing more to it.' Following her comments, Kate reportedly 'cringed' at her sister 'indulging' the headlines about her.

"As soon as the rumours started circulating about Spencer and Lottie, Kate found herself cringing," a source claimed to Heat magazine. "She can't believe Lottie is willing to indulge headlines over speculation about being with a married man. Even if she says nothing happened, it just goes against everything Kate stands for, as she's always lived by the mantra 'never complain, never explain'."

According to the insider, Kate "finds it all highly embarrassing and would just rather not be associated with her." Mirror have contacted Kate's representatives for comment.

During Lottie's chat with Fabulous magazine, she insisted she harbours no bitterness towards her sibling. She said: “My sister has obviously struggled with things herself. She’s allowed to have that. She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me. When I was younger, I couldn’t understand it. I thought: ‘Why is someone in my family not wanting a relationship with me? I don’t get it.’

"But now I’ve learned, especially speaking to other friends who don’t speak to their mum or dad, that family is complicated. Just because she’s a really high-end model, it doesn’t mean that it’s any different in our family. We just don’t see eye to eye on many things. I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close. It is what it is.”
