Google Maps user spots spooky 'mutant girl' walking through street

A Google Maps user noticed something very unusual when he was looking at the streets of Split in Croatia.

The unnamed Reddit user decided to use the Google Street View mode in Google Maps to "walk" through the streets when he spotted two ladies near a building. Wanting to get a closer look, he zoomed in and changed the angle at which he was looking at them.

But it seems Google's Street View car captured a lot more than an innocent image of two holidaymakers. Bizarrely, the up-close image appears to show that one of the girls has a third leg. A third limb with toes can be seen sticking out from the shorts of the blonde girl on the right.

Users immediately dubbed the three-legged tourist "mutant girl". But all may not be as it seems, with many pointing out the third leg is actually just a glitch on the Google system. Google Maps was launched in 2005 and has changed the way people navigate across the world - but this is not the first time people have spotted some concerning scenes.

The street view cars captured two women in Russia brawling on the streets. The images show a woman in black gym shorts pulling the the other's hair while onlookers appear to be just watching - rather than attempting to break up the brawl. It's not known why the fight broke out or whether it was even resolved.
