Liverpool have been incredibly busy in the transfer market so far and more incomings and outgoings are expected before the window slams shut.

Their midfield in particular has undergone a major revamp, with James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain departing on free transfers and Jordan Henderson and Fabinho completing moves to the Saudi Pro League.

They have been replaced by Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo and more reinforcements could yet make the move to Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp admitting the club were still very much keeping an eye on the market.

Here, Mirror Football takes a look at the latest rumours.

Origi set for Premier League return

Former Liverpool striker Divock Origi could be set for a surprise Premier League return, with Sheffield United hoping to sign him on loan.

The Blades are desperate to strengthen their attacking options following the departure of Iliman Ndiaye, who was their top scorer in the Championship last season. Ndiaye has joined boyhood club Marseille in a deal worth around £20m and the Sun claim they are now eyeing a move for Origi.

Sangare blow

According to reports, Bayern Munich are 'closer than ever' to signing PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.

Sangare has also been linked with a move to Anfield, but Bayern appear to be in the driving seat. The report does state that Liverpool will 'make one last offer' to try and tempt the 25-year-old to join them, despite wrapping up the signing of Endo.

The Japan international joined Liverpool from Stuttgart as a replacement for Henderson and Fabinho after both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia decided to sign for Premier League rivals Chelsea instead.

Bakayoko warning

Sangare is not the only PSV player Liverpool have been linked with this summer, with Eindhoven Dagblad stating they are also interested in 20-year-old forward Johan Bakayoko.

It is claimed Liverpool have made contact with the player's representatives about a potential move, but ex-PSV star Wim Kieft has warned Bakayoko is not ready for a Premier League move. Kieft wrote in a column for Der Telegraaf: "Bakayoko has qualities as a right winger, but something different is asked in the Premier League than against FC Utrecht or Sturm Graz. In the encounter with the Austrians in Eindhoven, he continuously overtook his direct opponent.

"In one match he passed more often than in all his matches for PSV put together. Sturm Graz had not adjusted sufficiently to Bakayoko. He plays more safe when teams adapt to him. He often lacks guts, while he possesses the qualities to go inside and out. The latter is ideal for Luuk de Jong. A little more initiative wouldn’t hurt. But Liverpool at this stage of his career…"
