Paedo teacher Kandice Barber 'shacks up with scammer in prison' according to lag

A teacher who was put behind bars for having sex with a teenage schoolboy has found love in prison with a female fraudster who stole hundreds of thousands from her own friends.

Kandice Barber was found guilty of grooming a child, taking him to a field and kissing him on the neck before asking him: "What do you want to do now?" The 37-year-old teacher then had sex with the boy, although she would go on to threaten him with false rape accusations if he reported her. She was jailed for six years and two months in March 2021.

Barber, from Buckinghamshire, is now apparently in a relationship with Jay Delaney inside an open women’s prison, according to Mail Online. Delaney, 34, was given five years in April for a £388,000 fraud. Barber meanwhile is nearly half way through her six-year sentence.

Both women are on Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) but spend most of their time together when back at the prison, according to an insider. The source told MailOnline: "Delaney is slight and wears her hair in a boyish style, when they started their relationship people were saying she must be Barber's type."They spend most of their time together when they are not on ROTL. It's been going on for around seven months and they discuss being a family when they are on the outside."

Barber is reportedly allowed to leave the prison four nights every two weeks to have access to her kids and six days a month to work a job. But back inside the pair spend every waking moment together. The source added: "They openly kiss, cuddle and hold hands and appear 100% in love, they make no attempt to hide their relationship. I was told that they had been sharing a cell together but officers found out and moved them."

It comes after Barber was moved from her prison job as a security guard on a building site because she was “too distracting” .A builder from the London site said: “She's attractive looking, so she's already proving a hit with the lads, who have no idea about her background. “It's no secret she's a massive flirt and lots of the staff there have already noticed her.”
