Jamie Foxx enjoys trip to Mexico just four months after medical emergency
Jamie Foxx has jetted off to Mexico and was spotted enjoying a swim with friends just four months after he was rushed to hospital due to a "medical complication".
The 55-year-old looked to be in good health as he was snapped soaking up the sun and enjoying a dip in Tulum. Jamie looked ready for his holiday as he wore a pair of knee-length cream shorts. He showed off his muscly arms by going topless during his swim.
The Hollywood star made sure to put his safety first and was seen donning a bright orange lifejacket. His companions also wore the protective clothing.
After spending some time in the water, Jamie was all smiles as he walked around the local area with a blue towel draped over his shoulder. He also wore a red pair of non-slip shoes.

It was then revealed that he had been rushed to hospital, before spending time in a physical rehabilitation facility. He's thought to have received "round-the-clock treatment" at the centre, while his family remained by his side.
Jamie's family kept tight-lipped about his health woes, but they did reveal in May that he had been released from hospital. He has since shared a video where he addressed his health scare.

In an emotional Instagram clip, he said: "I went through something that I thought I would never, ever go through and I know a lot of people were waiting or wanted to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that."
He added: "I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through." He added that he went through "hell and back" during the medical complication.
Now, Jamie has further taken to Instagram to open up about how he has felt recently. In a lengthy caption, the They Cloned Tyrone star said: "You're lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it's been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light."
