Escape to the Chateau's Angel supported as she 'resets' after Channel 4 axing

Angel Strawbridge's fans have rushed to offer their support to the former Escape to the Chateau star who explained she was "resetting".

It comes just months after Angel and her husband Dick were sensationally dropped by Channel 4 who they had worked with for a number of years. The couple were axed by the network following an independent investigation into their conduct on the show after production company Two Rivers Media raised concerns.

They allegedly clashed with producers while filming and in a leaked audio recording, Angel could be heard calling a producer a "f***ed up little c**t." But it appears any drama is now behind them as Angel took to social media to say she and her loved ones were "resetting" ahead of the upcoming week.

Sharing a snap taken inside her sprawling bedroom at the large chateau, she could be seen making her and Dick's kingsize bed which was decorated with several cushions, as well as a duvet made by Angel herself. Captioning her upload, she wrote: "We love spending Sundays resetting our homes and preparing for the week ahead."

Her upload which has raked in over 7,000 likes was soon flooded with messages of support as one fan said: "So miss watching you all on TV," alongside crying emojis. A second went on to add: "Missing you on TV. I loved following your journey."

"Good luck to you and the fam. Sending you all love," said a third. While a fourth follower commented: "You and Dick and the kids are all incredible. Love you all." But while Dick and Angel may have been dropped by Channel 4 earlier this year, they've already confirmed they have more career plans in the pipeline.

Looking forward to their new career, the couple will be leaving France and returning to the United Kingdom for one special reason.. Confirming the news on Instagram, they said: "We are giddy with excitement to announce we are coming to the UK to celebrate 'A Good Old-Fashioned Book Launch. Please join us live this autumn for two exclusive and intimate evenings at The Bristol Hippodrome, 22nd October 2023 and The London Barbican, 23rd October 2023.

"We'll all be reading extracts from the book, chatting about the creative process of putting pen to paper, sharing memories, funny tales, and pictures that didn't make it to print." In May, a spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed they would not be working with Dick and Angel, confirming after a review into the claims, they had made the decision "not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future."

However, the couple later counterclaimed that in December of 2022, they made a decision to stop working with the broadcaster. In a statement, they said: "We know there are lots of stories in the press right now. It's not worth us even trying to comment or give context, because anything can be made into a good headline. We understand. There are two sides to every story and from the incredible support we have received, most of you know that."
