Sir Elton John was seen enjoying dinner with Kevin Spacey weeks after the House Of Cards actor was found not guilty of sexually assaulting four men.

The Rocketman superstar was called as a witness for the defence in the Hollywood actor’s trial last month, along with his husband David Furnish. And now, the singer was videoed enjoying a performance of Elvis Presley's Suspicious Minds by a band at a restaurant while sitting next to Kevin.

A band, called The Snugglers, shared a video of themselves performing for the two stars around a table. Kevin was seen filming the performers while Sir Elton lived in the moment and enjoyed the music. "We had the chance to perform for those absolute legends: Sir @eltonjohn & @kevinspacey! In this clip Sir Elton is singing with us," the band captioned the post.

Their dinner, which had David Furnish in attendance, was held at Petite Maison in Nice, France. Following the trial, Kevin broke his silence after being found not guilty of sexually assaulting four men. He was accused of being a “sexual bully” who “aggressively” grabbed other men by the crotch in a series of alleged assaults from 2001 to 2013.

Speaking outside Southwark Crown Court, Kevin told the press he was “humbled” by the jury’s decision to clear him of nine sex offences. "I'm imagining many of you can understand that there's a lot for me to process after what has just happened today," he said.

"But I would like to say that I'm enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts carefully before they reached their decision and I am humbled by the outcome today."

"I also want to thank the staff in this courthouse, the security and all those who took care of us every single day, my legal team… for being here every day. And that’s all I have to say for the moment. Thank you very much.” " he said. During the trial, Sir Elton told jurors that Kevin Spacey attended a white tie ball at his home after arriving by private jet.

Giving evidence via videolink from Monaco, Sir Elton, who gave his name as “Elton Hercules John”, told Southwark Crown Court that two-time Oscar winner Spacey had attended an annual charity ball at his house in Windsor, Berks, in 2001. Sir Elton said the actor attended the party and stayed the night but said he could not remember him visiting the property after that.

One of the complainants alleges that Spacey grabbed his crotch so hard he cried out in a car on the way to one of the annual fundraising events in the early 2000s. The Oscar winning actor denied the allegations and was found not guilty by a jury in London last month.
