Lily Allen revealed her dad called the police when she lost her virginity during a family holiday. The Smile singer, 38, recalled finding a fling while on vacation with her dad Keith and her brother Alfie.

The star snuck away at one point but her father thought she went missing and called the police when she was actually having sex with a guy called Fernando. Appearing on Alan Carr's Life's A Beach podcast, Lily opened up about the moment her dad noticed she wasn't in her hotel room.

"I actually went missing. I lost my virginity to a guy called Fernando in Brazil. When I was about 12, no I am joking," she said to Alan. "They [her parents] thought I actually went missing. I went to his hotel room, and I was on holiday with my dad and brother, and obviously didn’t come back to my room.’"

Lily was oblivious to her family's panic and peacefully 'slept in the next day' while they were busy freaking out about her whereabouts. "I woke up and there was police all over the hotel," she explained. "They were literally combing the beach and had T-shirts [asking], 'Is this what she was wearing?' I didn’t have the heart to say, no, I was just losing my virginity.

"It was all a bit traumatic, and I didn’t have sex again then for a while." She told Alan that the person she slept with was 'tall' but she 'never spoke to him again'.

In 2021, Lily opened up about having a strained relationship with her dad. When she landed a role in the play 2:22 - A Ghost Story, her mum shared her support for her. Lily was asked what her father thought of the gig and she admitted they haven't spoken to each other in a long while.

Lily told The Telegraph: "I haven't really spoken to him, to be honest, for a while. The last time I texted him was on Father's Day and he texted back saying 'Thank you.' We haven't connected for a while." In 2018, Lily said she fell out with her dad after she claimed he suffered a "cocaine-induced heart attack" at Glastonbury when she was 13.

When Keith read the excerpt in her autobiography My Thoughts Exactly, he denied it, claiming he instead suffered "acute food poisoning," Lily claimed. She said he sent her an "angry text message" and they hadn't been in contact since. During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Lily claimed: "I got quite a cross text from him [my dad] this weekend.

She apologised to him as he denied having a 'cocaine-induced heart attack' and told her it was actually acute food poisoning.
