Lisa Armstrong 'heartbroken' by split but 'nobody can hurt her like Ant did'
Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist Lisa Armstrong has been left “heartbroken” by her latest love split but “nobody can hurt her like ex-husband Ant McPartlin did”.
Lisa, 46, was devastated when her long-term partner James Green called time on their three-year relationship, unexpectedly leaving her single again just as Ant was celebrating his second wedding anniversary with wife Anne-Marie Corbett. Lisa and James began dating in 2020, and they recently enjoyed a holiday in the Caribbean to coincide with the electrician’s 40th birthday, and friends of the couple have been left stunned by the split.
Despite having her heart broken, Lisa is determined to bounce back, and according to new! magazine, her bitter and lengthy split from ex Ant hasn’t made her fearful of finding love again.

News of Lisa and James’ separation emerged earlier this month, when the 40-year-old moved out of the Strictly star’s £3.85 million home in Chiswick, London, and friends had “no inkling” they were set to split. Some have speculated his recent 40th birthday may have left Lisa “feeling second best”, as she had “felt him changing” over the last few months and was “pulling away from her”.

Despite the heartbreak, Lisa “knows her worth” and is confident she’ll be okay, as she’s leaning on her Strictly pals for support as she faces the single life once again.

“She feels so grateful to have the show to fall back on and distract her during a difficult time,” a source told Closer magazine. Lisa was left “gutted” by the shock split, as friends had suggested she and James would be getting married.
While the star was nursing a broken heart, ex-husband Ant celebrated his second wedding anniversary with Anne-Marie, who he began dating after his split from Lisa. The Saturday Night Takeaway star admitted in divorce papers that he had started his relationship with his former personal assistant in 2018, shortly after separating from Lisa.
