Travis Barker's daughter shares emotional post as family member dies
Internet star and the daughter of rocker Travis, Alabama Barker, has shared an emotional post about a beloved family member who has sadly died.
The 17-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has shared the sad news that her granddad John W. Moakler III has died. The teen took to Instagram today to pay tribute to her grandpa, who died just seven months after his wife.
Taking to her Instagram stories to share her 48-year-old mum Shanna Moakler's Instagram post, Alabama wrote a touching message as she reflected on the passing of her granddad. The snap that was shared was of John with his wife Gail, who died mere months ago

Shanna was the first to pay tribute to her father (Instagram)Sharing the black and white snap on her story, Alabama wrote: "With the heaviest heart.. I'm writing this message it was hard to [lose] both of you in one year, but today my grandpa went up to heaven. I love you very dearly, both of you! and I hope you are reunited and finally at relief. 'Til we meet again."
This came after Shanna revealed her father's death with the black and white image she shared, with the model penning a lengthy caption in memory of John. She wrote: "It's with great sadness to share the passing of my dad, the only solace is knowing he is with my beautiful mother.

"I am so thankful I got to have as many years with my parents as I did, and to have the time I had these last weeks with him. My father was an amazing husband, doctor and father. He was more than anyone could ask for. I will hold tight the incredible life both my parents provided for me and the love and strength they instilled in me. The unwavering support at times when I didn't deserve it."
Shanna revealed her mother died back in January (Instagram)She then concluded: "I love you dad and my world will never be the same without you in it. I appreciate all those who have reached out and sent messages of support. Godspeed."
It was only back in January that Shanna shared the sad news of her mother's passing, who was 77 at the time. Posting a series of snaps on her page, the model penned: "This is day I always feared, losing my best friend, support system and beautiful mom. I honestly can't find the words to express how loving, kind and amazing she was.
"I honestly don't know how I will do this life without her. How lucky I am to have been her daughter and to have had her for as long as I did."
Shanna then concluded the emotional tribute with: "She was everything I hoped to be and I will miss her every second of everyday. I love you mom. Kiss Vo vo for me and hug Mason. Please visit me in my dreams."
Shanna was married to Travis Barker for four years, with the couple getting divorced in 2008. The pair share custody of their children and Travis remains incredibly close and a father figure to his stepchild from Shanna's previous relationship.
Travis shares daughter Alabama Luella Barker and son Landon Asher Barker with Shanna, with him also being stepdad to Atiana De La Hoya.
