Maisie Smith and Max George looked loved up as she shared a throwback snap from their sunny getaway together. The duo, who have been dating for almost a year, constantly share updates from their endless romantic trips with their fans on social media.

The 22-year-old actress shared a few selfies with her 1 million followers on Instagram as she enjoyed sipping from coconuts in the blistering heat. In the snap, Maisie rocked a bright green bikini top and no makeup. She also took a selfie as her boyfriend, 34, gave her a smooch on the cheek.

“Oh what a lovely pair,“ she captioned the post while her boyfriend left a couple of heart emojis in the comment section. One user posted: “You and Max are such a beautiful couple!!!“, while another fan of the lovers said: “Beautiful couple through and through.“

The couple only recently flew to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates to celebrate her 22nd birthday last month, with Max taking to social media to pay tribute to her on her special day. “Happy birthday my gorgeous girl. Every day with you is…. Different,” he joked, alongside a crazy face emoji.

“I LOVE it. You’re the most special person in my life. I love you Mais,” Max wrote. Their room at the five-star hotel was adorned with gold balloons, spelling out “Happy Birthday” as well as two huge 22 balloons, and towels were made into the shape of a cake on the bed.

Maisie was wearing a stunning orange midi dress with her red hair tied up in a ponytail, and she cheekily bit down on a strawberry as Max snapped a photo. The couple began dating in the summer of last year and were spotted kissing on a flight to Crete in August. They made things official just a few weeks later, as Max threw his support behind Maisie as she took part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

However, they’ve faced criticism of their relationship due to the 13-year age gap, and the actress hit out at those who were being negative. “People don’t understand what goes on behind closed doors in a relationship, and I think they also forget that I’m a consenting 21-year-old woman who’s actually been working longer than Max!” she told The Sun.

The actress also said: “It doesn’t matter where we are – as long as we’re together, everything is perfect.“
