Linda Robson has shared the name she had chosen for her unborn baby girl as she opened up on her tragic miscarriage.

The Loose Women star, 65, explained she lost her baby at the height of her Birds Of A Feather fame. She revealed her baby was going to be called Olivia. Linda opened up on her own experience as she discussed having children in later life with her Loose Women co-stars. She told her fellow panellists: "I lost one in between Louis and Bobby, so I would have had four children.

"So I often think what would it be like if I had the other baby now? The little one that we lost was going to be called Olivia. I had beautiful babies though, didn't I?" Linda is mum to Roberta, 27, Louis, 31, and Lauren, 40. She first opened up about her miscarriage in 2021 whilst on the ITV daytime show.

The panel, including Stacey Solomon, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, were discussing keeping secrets and in particular, asking how long women should keep their pregnancy a secret. During the conversation, Linda spoke about the time she found out that she had miscarried years ago. "I felt like something wasn’t right, so eventually I rung up and asked to have a scan, and I went down there with Louis," she explained.

"And the nurse did the scan and then went to me, 'Hold on a minute I’m just gonna go and call a doctor'. Meanwhile, Mark just turned up from work, I didn’t know he was coming," she continued, referring to her husband of more than 30 years. Linda then told her Loose Women co-stars: "And they came in and said the baby had died inside of me. It’s so hard for people, like when people die, they don’t know what to say do they?

"But Mark took it really bad and kept saying, 'Do you think we did something wrong'. I said 'No Mark'. Anyway, I had to go in the next day to have the baby removed." Later that year, Linda opened up on her miscarriage again after singer Jessie J shared she was 'overwhelmed with sadness' after suffering a miscarriage. She explained: "That was a really hard day, like going home that night knowing that I'd have to go in and have suction the next day."

Several years ago, Loose Women star Nadia Sawalha also opened up about suffering several miscarriages with her husband Mark Adderley. Speaking during a podcast titled 'Dealing With the Heartbreak of Miscarriage', Nadia said: "From the second you know you’re pregnant you start making plans. It doesn’t make any difference how far you are. You can see their face, you can see their smile, start planning where they will go to school."

Recalling each painful miscarriage, Nadia and Mark struggled throughout the podcast to hold back their tears, with the Loose Women star needing to take a moment to compose herself before revealing the traumatic details of the birth of their oldest daughter, Maddie. "We then had our darling Maddie. She was so precious – born on Christmas Day after a terrible, terrible labour – a survivor of torture after a traumatic birth."
