Olivia Attwood defends her decision to have no bridesmaids at wedding to Bradley

Olivia Attwood has explained and defended her decision to have no bridesmaids at her recent wedding to footballer Bradley Dack. Olivia, 32, and Bradley, 29, tied the knot in June at the five-star hotel Bulgari in Knightsbridge. Olivia, who wore a bespoke £30,000 dress by designer Galia Lahav, filmed the wedding and the lead up for her hit ITVBe series, Olivia Marries Her Match.

Appearing on Monday's Loose Women, Olivia discussed her recent nuptials and her reality series. During the chat, the former Love Island star was asked about her decision not to have any bridesmaids on the day. However, she did have sister Georgia and best friend Charlotte, who performed maid of honour duties together.

Loose Women presenter, Judi Love, asked: "The one thing I was a little bit shocked of was no bridesmaids! How did that come about?", to which Linda Robson added: "Haven't you got lots of girlfriends that you wanted to be your bridesmaid?"

To which Olivia said: "Yeah and that was kind of the thing! A couple of brides I spoke to, who have been married previously, I said: 'If you could change one thing, what would it be' and they said: 'Bridesmaids are hard work'. One, it's really political, isn't it? So when me and Brad first started looking at it, we were going: 'Right, we want even numbers that balances aesthetically [for pictures of their bridesmaids and groomsmen]!'

"We were looking at it and I was like, 'if I get everyone in, who would be expecting to be one [a bridesmaid], it's just going to be so many'." Olivia then hilariously joked: "I could buy ten dresses or buy myself a piece of jewellery!"

It comes as Olivia has revealed she is planning on giving birth on camera if she ever has kids with husband Bradley. The star admitted that she "doesn’t wake up thinking about kids" as she is "obsessed" with her career and new husband Brad, however, she is constantly being asked when she is having babies now she is in her 30s.

At this stage the newlyweds don’t know if children are in their future, but if it does happen Olivia plans to share the experience with fans in her reality show. "The idea of filming my birth is scary, but yes in some capacity it would be natural to share that, and I’d want to," she told MailOnline. "I think that would be fun and the viewers would have grown up with me and to see me making life would be really cool."
