Beyoncé appears to have taken Lizzo's side in light of the current allegations surrounding the singer. When the accusations first surfaced, Beyoncé pulled Lizzo's name out of the lyrics of Break My Soul, but she added them back at a recent show.

Lizzo has maintained that she is "not the villian", claiming innocence against allegations of sexual harassment and weight shaming among her own dancers. However, few of her friends have actually supported her publicly. This nod to Lizzo from Beyoncé could be a hint that Lizzo was able to clear things up in private.

After all, a source told The Sun that Lizzo's celebrity friends have all expressed support to her personally, but have chosen not to publicly offer that same sentiment. This has left Lizzo feeling 'disappointed'.

When Beyoncé initially left Lizzo's name out, not everyone was convinced it was a diss at Lizzo. Some fans argued that Beyoncé may not have even known about the allegations, yet. In their eyes, Lizzo's name was sacrificed so Beyoncé could shout out "Badu" at least 4 times, making a mockery of Erykah Badu's recent shade toward her.

One fan tweeted: "There is no need to spread lies on Lizzo because y'all want to use her name for clout. I talked about this same thing two days ago. Lizzo's name was on Beyonce screen tonight. She does not often say Lizzo. She poked fun at Badu. Das it."

Regardless on if Beyoncé is on Lizzo's side, she isn't fully alone. Grimes, the musician who was formally married to Elon Musk, has rushed to defend Lizzo.

She wrote on Twitter: "I love Lizzo. Not saying I don't believe ppl when bad things happen, but I had dancers mistreated on my watch in ways I didn't find out about until way later. Mebe sh*t is bad. But loyalty matters to me."

Allegations against Lizzo include racial and religious discrimination plus, assault and false imprisonment. While some of these allegations are against her team and the work environment, some are directly against Lizzo herself. One claim is that during an afterparty, she pressured a dancer to touch a nude performer.

NBC News reported that Lizzo "began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas".

In her official statement post to Instagram, Lizzo said: "Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations, but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed. These sensationalized stories are coming from former employees who have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional."

The Mirror has previously reached out to Lizzo's team and has not received a response on the matter. The Mirror also contacted Beyoncé's team and has not received a response.
