We could have a new highest-rated attacker, and new highest-rated player, in EA FC 24 after a thrilling 2022/23 campaign.

Last season saw the torch passed to the new generations of attackers, with Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Europe for the United States and Saudi Arabia respectively. The likes of Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior all had unbelievable seasons, meaning we could see a big shake-up to the highest-rated attackers in EA FC 24.

In FIFA 23, Messi, Benzema and Robert Lewandowski all shared the top spot with Kevin De Bruyne and Mbappe, with all five rated 91 overall. But, downgrades are expected, and with women's players being added to EA FC 24 Ultimate Team this week, don't be surprised to see a few new faces amongst the best attackers.

None of these ratings are official for EA FC 24, with each rating a prediction, although we'd like to think they are correct! Here are the 20 attackers we predict to be the best in EA FC 24, both men and women with the two set to be mixed in Ultimate Team in EA FC 24:

We predict that there could be a three-way tie for the highest-rated attacker in EA FC 24, with Mbappe retaining his spot but being joined by Chelsea Women's Sam Kerr and Man City's Haaland, with the latter expected to receive a huge upgrade. Lewandowski, Benzema and Messi could all drop to 90 overall and be joined by an upgraded Harry Kane, Ada Hegerberg and Caroline Graham Hansen.

Mohamed Salah, Neymar Jr and Marie Katoto could all remain 89-rated after impressive seasons and be joined by Vinicius who we expect to be handed a +3 boost, whilst Arsenal Women's Beth Mead and Portland Thorns' Sohpia Smith could be the only 88-rated attackers in EA FC 24.

A handful of players could be 87-rated in the new game, including Christopher Nkunku and Victor Osimhen who are both in line for upgrades. We also expect a big downgrade for Ronaldo, with the striker potentially dropping to 87-rated after leaving Manchester United for Al Nassr whilst having an underwhelming season.
