As fans patiently await the next season of HBO's hit television drama series Euphoria, we're taking a look at where all of the famous stars are now - from incredible Hollywood successes to a tragic young death.

While the new series isn't scheduled to be released until 2025, fans will still get the chance to catch many of their favourite faces from the cast on the big screen in 2024 - from highly anticipated biopics to action adventure thrillers. The stars have been booked and busy since their Euphoria days, including upcoming performances from Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow.

Tragically, the cast were all reconnected recently, as they mourned the unexpected loss of their fellow co-star Angus Cloud who tragically passed away this week. After the heartbreaking news, many of the stars from the show publicly shared tributes to the Fezco star with heartfelt messages along with behind-the-scenes photos and videos on set of the show.

Zendaya (Rue Bennett)

Zendaya captivated audiences with her remarkable performance as Rue and was the first-ever Black woman to win an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category twice. Following Zendaya's unforgettable performance as Rue, a troubled teenager struggling with addiction, the talented actress has been hard at work with two highly anticipated films including explosive sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two and romance-sport movie Challengers.

In Dune Part Two, Zendaya will be making a reappearance in the desert as her character Chani. In the sequel - being released in November of 2023 - audiences can look forward to seeing Chani. In the star-studded thriller, Paul, played by Timothée Chalamet, will reunite with Chani and the Fremen as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.

The 26-year-old star will also be stepping into a new role as Tashi in the Challengers movie, playing a tennis prodigy who is on a mission to turn her husband Art, played by Mike Faist, from an average player into a global champion. Challengers is set to hit the big screen April of 2024.

Angus Cloud (Fezco)

Angus Cloud was a fan favourite on the show Euphoria, performing as Fez, who was a school dropout and drug dealer with a heart of gold who cared deeply about his close friend Rue and helped her with her battle with addiction. Fez was also the love interest of Lexi. who slowly won her and the hearts of audiences over with his charm and sincerity beneath his hard exterior.

The 25-year-old star was said to have died at his family's home in Oakland, California on Monday - a week after burying his father. Cloud's cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but his family has revealed that the actor had an ongoing struggle with mental health and was having a difficult time grieving.

Prior to Cloud's tragic death, the actor was set to appear in upcoming projects including Freaky Tales and an untitled Universal Monsters film. It has been reported that he completed his part in the untitled horror film, which is set to be released in April 2024.

Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs)

Jacob Elordi performed his iconic role as Nate Jacobs, the gorgeous heartthrob that was the centre of a dramatic love triangle, in Euphoria. Nate was one of the athletic popular students of East Highland High School and had a turbulent on-and-off relationship with Maddy. His complex character was the centre of many emotionally-charged scenes as had a tendency for violence due to his complicated family dynamic and childhood as his emotionally abusive father grappled with his sexuality.

Since his stellar performance in Euphoria, Jacob had the monumental task of performing as legendary rock star Elvis in the new biopic Priscilla, coming to theatres in September 2023. Starring alongside Caliee Spaeny, the drama romance will follow the fascinating life of Elvis' wife Priscilla Presley.

Jacob will also be starring in the upcoming drama Saltburn. Projected to debut in theatres in November 2023, Jacob plays Felix in a story revolving around a college student who develops a crush on his aristocratic fellow student.

Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard)

Sydney Sweeney made her dynamic, emotional performance as Cassie Howard in the drama Euphoria showcasing her wide range of talent. In the first season of the show Cassie was known as the sweet kindhearted girl dating Chris McKay, but in the second season she had a complete 180, showing a vengeful, dark side as she cheated with her best friend Maddy's abusive ex-boyfriend Nate Jacobs.

Since Euphoria, the 25-year-old actress has an upcoming role in the romantic comedy Anyone But You alongside actor Glenn Powell. During filming, the movie generated buzz as fans noticed the sizzling on and off-screen chemistry between the two stars. The romcom is projected to hit theatres in December 2023.

Sydney also has an upcoming role as Julia Carpenter in the fantasy superhero film Madame Web. Projected to be released in February of 2024, the movie will be a spin-off of Spider Man revolving around clairvoyant mutant Madame Web.

Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn)

Hunter Schafer starred in her free-spirited role as Rue's love interest Jules Vaughn, who was the new girl in town that captured Rue's attention. She and Rue had an emotional on-and-off relationship throughout the series, as the two grappled with their first real relationship. Their dynamic constantly saw the highs and lows encapsulating the complicated nature of being in love with someone actively battling addiction.

Since Euphoria, Hunter landed the incredible role as Tirgis Snow in the upcoming prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. The new film, projected to be released in November 2023, follows Coriolanus Snow as a teenager, years before he becomes the president of Panem, as he sees a chance for change when he mentors Lucy Gray Baird.

Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez)

Alexa Demie performs as the confident and sexy Maddy Perez in Euphoria - popular girl at East Highland High School. The bold strong-willed character is Nate Jacobs' on-and-off girlfriend that finds herself in an emotionally abusive relationship. Alexa skillfully portrayed the painful betrayal Maddy felt when she discovered her best friend Cassie went behind her back and became romantically intertwined with her ex-boyfriend Nate.

Since Euphoria, Alexa has no announced upcoming films or television shows, but she was briefly spotted in HBO's series The Idol last month as she was featured in a cameo dancing next to one of the main stars for a few brief seconds.
