EA FC 24's 20 highest-rated midfielders predicted with 10 new entries
With womens players coming to Ultimate Team in EA FC 24, who could the 20 highest-rated midfielders be in the new game?
A whole host of young, exciting midfielders stole the footballing limelight last season, whilst some high-rated midfielders from FIFA 23 struggled for form, meaning we could be in for a big change amongst the top-rated midfielders for EA FC 24. The first instalment of the EA Sports FC series will be released at the end of September, meaning we can expect official player ratings to be released soon.
Player ratings are one of the most-anticipated announcements made by EA Sports in the lead-up to a new game, and it looks like we may have already seen some in the EA FC 24 Career Mode deep dive trailer. As well as Career Mode, news on gameplay, Clubs and Ultimate Team has also been announced, with a big update being the addition of women's players in the latter.
FIFA 23's highest-rated midfielder was Kevin De Bruyne, but with the introduction of women's players, we could see a new contender for the number one spot. A lot of the high-rated midfielders from last year had poor campaigns, so there could be some new faces appearing in your Packs as walkouts in EA FC 24.

None of these ratings are official for EA FC 24, with each rating a prediction, although we'd like to think they are correct! Here are the 20 midfielders we predict to be the best in EA FC 24, both men and women with the two set to be mixed in Ultimate Team in EA FC 24:

We predict that Kevin De Bruyne will remain the highest-rated midfielder in EA FC 24, though he will be joined by Barcelona Femeni's Alexia Putellas, also rated 91 overall. Three defensive midfielders could be rated 89 overall, with Rodri in line for an upgrade to join Joshua Kimmich and Casemiro in the top five. Arsenal Women's Kim Little and Chelsea Women's Guro Reiten could both enter the top 20 list at 88-rated, joining Luka Modric, Bernardo Silva and the upgraded duo of Frenkie de Jong and Nicolo Barella at the same rating.
Jude Bellingham could pick up a big boost to 87 overall, joining a downgraded Toni Kroos and women trio Debinha, Grace Geyoro and Lena Oberdorf at 87-rated, whilst +2 upgrades for both Martin Odegaard and Federico Valverde could see the duo join Kingsley Coman and Lina Bagull at 86 overall, a rating with many more players who just missed out on the top 20.
