You could be sunning yourself on Spain holidays this summer for less than £75 a night, with flights included.

After the rainy horror show that was July in the UK, you would be forgiven for wanting a little break to warm away the cobwebs and get some summery feelings go once again. Happily it is not too late to book a break and get away from these still relatively overcast shores.

TUI is offering post summer holiday deals to the Balearic Ireland of Ibiza, with holidays from under £75 per person, per night from both London and regional airports. Whether it’s a holiday to sit back and relax, explore the UNESCO old town or sip on cocktails at sunset in San Antonio, there is something for everyone.

One of the offers is a seven night holidays to Ibiza staying at the 3T Playa Bella Apartments on a self-catering basis. Prices start from £499 per person, if two adults share a studio with balcony or terrace and fly from Bristol Airport on September 20. That works out at £75 per person, per day for the week's holiday.

Another option closer to the top of the range is a week at the 3T Tagomago Hotel on Ibiza on a half board basis, from £676 per person, again based on two people staying. Flights depart from Glasgow airport on 13 September.

If you are wondering how to keep the cost of your holiday down more generally, then Darryl Newby, co-founder of Welcome to Travel, has a tip - book on a Tuesday.

"If in doubt, always book flights on Tuesday mornings. Airlines tend to lower their prices on Monday nights, leaving the following morning the perfect time to jump in and bag a great deal. You can even end up saving between 15 and 25%," he said.

It is also worth bearing in mind that midweek flights tend to be the cheapest as people limit the amount of time they need off work by booking over the weekends. "However, some airlines also offer flash sales," he continued.

"To keep on top of these and avoid missing out on any bargains, I’d suggest signing up for a newsletter service like Jack’s Flight Club. They reach out to you directly about exciting deals, allowing you to bag flights along some of the world’s most desirable routes for a fraction of their usual price."
