Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancers were seen looking like royalty as they showed off their best moves in front of the Tate Britain in London. The stars dressed to the nines as they filmed the opening tape for the upcoming new series.

Dancers, including Neil Jones, Katya Jones, Dianne Buswell and more, dressed in dramatic gold and black looks as they strutted their stuff on the steps of the iconic museum. Among the talented crew present for filming included Karen Hauer, Johannes Radebe, Giovanni Pernice, Nancy Xu, Luba Mushak, Carlos Gu, Gorka Marquez, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Vito Coppola, Michelle Tsiakkas, Jowitz Przystal, Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley.

In one snap, Kayta and Nancy gazed into each other's eyes as they wrapped their arms around each other while taking a break from filming. Another showed Katya showing off her moves as she walked across the steps in the teaser for the highly anticipated new series of the BBC show.

One photo showed Dianne holding up the mesh pleats of her gold dress as she lifted one knee on a higher step for a theatrical move. When they weren't filming, the professional dancers sat on the steps wrapped in grey baskets to keep warm from the chilly evening air.

In a video clip shared with the Mirror, the dancers put their all into their moves before they quickly made their way up the steps of the Tate Britain and disappeared behind the pillars. The camera then pans up to show the illuminated building - certain to get Strictly fans excited about the upcoming series.
