New Look to shut another three stores this month - full list of closures

New Look is set to shut another three of its high street stores this month after a string of closures already this year.

The popular fashion retailer is reported to be closing its Littlehampton this week with the site's doors closing for the final time on Sunday, August 6. After this New Look's King Chase Shopping Centre store in Bristol will be closing next Wednesday on August 9.

After this, the retailer's Leeds store at Crossgates Shopping Centre will close at the of August, although an exact date for this has yet to be confirmed by New Look.

The standalone store in Littlehampton was confirmed for closure by New Look in a statement released to SussexWorld yesterday which thanked the stores colleagues and the local community for their support over the last few years. Local residents will now need to head to the next town over in Bognor Regis to shop at their closest New Look store.

New Look closing stores across UK - see list of branches shutting for good

New Look's Bristol store closure was confirmed in a post on the Kings Chase Shopping Centre's Facebook page.

The post read: "Sadly, after many years with us here at Kings Chase, New Look will be closing their doors for the final time on Wednesday 9 August. We would like to thank Carol and the New Look Kingswood team for their service over the years and we wish them all the very best for the future."

Just last month the fashion retailer shut the doors of four branches. These were in Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Leister and Rhyl in Wales.

The latest site to go comes after a string of closures earlier this year however New Look has previously defended the closures telling the Mirror that it was a "normal course of business". In a statement previously shared with the Mirror about the closures, a New Look spokesperson said: "New Look occasionally closes sites, but also opens new stores when the right opportunities arise."

While some stores have recently closed, New Look has also opened several new shops throughout the UK in November 2022, with plans for more openings in the current year. However, details about the number and locations of these new stores are yet to be revealed.

Most recently the retailer opened a new site in Sunderland in April - the new site was a combination of two which previously housed HMV and a former Disney store. In total, New Look operates over 400 stores in the UK.

New Look has been approached for comment.
