Detectives probing the murders of two women have released CCTV images of the second victim as they hunt for her body.

Fiona Holm, 48, was seen walking next to a cemetery after meeting up with friends on June 20. She was reported missing nine days later but police believe she was killed in the hours after she was caught on camera wearing a green top and dark leggings.

Her disappearance in Catford, South East London, was initially treated as a missing person investigation before being handed to the Met’s murder squad on July 11. Later that day, construction worker Carl Cooper, 65, was arrested on suspicion of her murder. He was subsequently charged with the murders of Ms Holm and Naomi Hunte, 41, who had been found stabbed to death in her flat in Plumstead on Valentine’s Day last year.

Cooper, of Hither Green, who had been in a relationship with both women, was held on suspicion of Ms Hunte’s murder in February 2022, then released on bail while under investigation. He was released under investigation at the time Ms Holm was murdered.

Det Chief Insp Kate Blackburn has appealed for help in her probe into the “no body homicide”. She said: “Her family are obviously distraught. We don’t know what’s happened to Fiona. We don’t know where her body is. So they need some answers. They can’t grieve until Fiona is found.”
