NFL fans are raving about George Pickens Jr after the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver made a miraculous catch during training camp.

Pickens is entering his second year in the league but is already making a habit of the spectacular after taking another seemingly impossible catch. The latest grab came during a one-on-one drill with several fans watching on at Saint Vincent College in Pennsylvania.

Up against rookie cornerback Joey Porter Jr, the 22-year-old wideout muscled his way past his new teammate with quarterback Kenny Pickett's throw on its way to him. After gaining some separation, Pickens cut behind Porter before leaping up into the air and claiming the one-handed catch.

Despite difficult coverage from the first-year defensive player, the receiver made the take look easy. It leaves fans drooling over the former Georgia Bulldog, again drawing comparisons with new Baltimore Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr.

A Steelers fan claiming to have been at the facility captioned footage of the catch with the following comment: "The JPJ and Pickens competition heating UP, Pickens does what Pickens does though and makes the craziest catch I’ve ever seen in person wow man!"

It is now the second time Pickens has been channelling his inner Beckham Jr out on the field. Last September, the then-rookie took a similarly acrobatic catch with one hand for Pittsburgh during a Thursday Night Football game against one of Beckham's former teams, the Cleveland Browns.

Despite being in Week 3 of the 2022 season, it was labelled the catch of the year by those watching on. Beckham himself was similarly impressed.

"THIS CATCH IS FILTHY," he tweeted at the time. After all, the three-time Pro Bowler knows about being a rookie and taking such remarkable grabs.

Almost a decade ago, Beckham shot to stardom after completing a one-handed touchdown for the New York Giants despite falling backwards during a Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys. At the time, it was in the conversation for the best grab of all time.

As Pickens continues adding to his catalogue of crazy catches, he now believes he is the best at what he does. "The stuff that I do, bro, I feel like I'm the best in the whole world," Pickens told The Ringer.

"I'm big, I'm fast, low 4.4 [speed]. [My] catch radius is crazy. So every time I get out on the field, I do kind of play angry because I should get the ball on every play if you just look at the size and the frame.

"If I was a coach, I'd just throw to him every time. But that's not how the NFL works. So every time I'm out there, that's why I throw the blocks.

"I love getting the ball, and when I'm not getting the ball, I play angry so the attention is back on me. I basically draw attention to myself."
