Take That's Mark Owen and wife 'heartbroken' after death of beloved family pet
Take That star Mark Owen and his wife Emma have been left "heartbroken" after the sad death of their adopted kitten.
On social media, Mark's wife of 14 years Emma described enduring a "shocking 24 hours" before losing their beloved pet, which left them "heartbroken" this week.
In a video, Emma explained: "We’ve had a pretty shocking 24 hours over here and I know all of you have been messaging me for updates on the kittens but we’re a little bit heartbroken."
She then added that she went to feed them at 3am but the kittens didn't look 'so good' and appeared 'limp'. An upset-looking Emma said: "They were quite limp, and they were dying". She continued as she explained that she tried CPR but that unfortunately and sadly one of the kittens passed away.
She continued as she revealed the heartbreak didn't end there: "They started breathing again, we rushed them to urgent care at the vet's, my little 11-year-old in tow. They didn’t make it, and so the other two weren’t looking too good the next day and we’ve taken them back to the rescue centre to be checked on and looked after because we’re heartbroken here. It has been a really shocking experience and I’m still processing, so I don’t have anything smart or wise or positive to say. I just need a bit of time to get my head around what’s happened."

Another commented: "I’m genuinely so so sorry to hear that! That’s the sad part of fostering but you’re doing such an important and wonderful job. Sending hugs to all of you!!"
"Emma, so sad to hear you've lost a fur baby. You've tried your best and you should be commended for that. It's a hard job to Foster kittens, you don't know the background and you've tried your absolute best to give it a good start in life. Sending you positive thoughts and lots of love," said a third.
Mark and Emma have been married since 2009 and share three children together; a son, Elwood Jack, and two daughters, Willow Rose and Fox India.
