Calvin Harris revealed the request he made before giving Cheryl Tweedy her hit song, Call My Name. The world-famous artist produced, wrote and mixed her 2012 UK No.1 hit.

However, before Cheryl was able to get her hands on the song he negotiated a deal with the label by requesting vocals from Florence Welch for Sweet Nothing. During an appearance on Capital FM, the 39-year-old discussed the track with radio host Roman Kemp. The hosts were shocked to learn he was involved in creating the song.

"Involved? Written, produced and mixed!" he said. “Every word, every word. I can say this now because 10, 11 years have passed. The deal was Cheryl gets that tune if I get a vocal for ‘Sweet Nothing’ from Florence [Welch]."

Calvin continued: "I’m pretty sure that was the deal, ’cause it was the same label or something like that. I guess the A&R must have brokered the deal or whatever. ‘Call My Name’ came after ‘We Found Love,’ and it had a lot of similarities. They were desperate for that tune."

The producer disclosed there's also a demo version of the song with his vocals. Other hit songs Calvin produced and wrote include Rihanna's Where Have You Been, Rihanna's We Found Love, Rita Ora's I Will Never Let You Down, Dizzee Rascal's Dance Wiv Me and many more.

Meanwhile, Calvin's fiancé Vick Hope recently shared a rare snap of the two together as they get ready to walk down the aisle. The radio presenter partied with her husband-to-be in Ibiza alongside her BBC Radio 1 colleagues.

The couple appeared to have a fun-filled trip as they enjoyed an outing at the famous outdoor club Ushuaia. Vick captioned her post: "Radio uno en Ibiza.

"Broadcasting Friday & Saturday from the White Isle bringing you @bbcradio1’s Dance Weekend, a bloody excellent time." Calvin – whose real name is Adam Wiles – and Vick are believed to have invited a small number of celebs to join them and their family at their wedding.

Reports from recent months suggest the loved-up couple are set to tie the knot within the coming months and have chosen Ibiza, where Calvin owns a farm, as their destination. A source told The Sun: "Calvin and Vick have kept their relationship out of the public eye for the most part, so aren’t having a massive wedding to parade their love in front of the world.

"Instead they want it to be a much more intimate and simple day. They have been planning it for months and everything is now coming together." News of Calvin and Vick’s engagement shocked fans last year after Vick was pictured with a huge rock on her wedding finger at the Chelsea Flower Show – with a source telling the MailOnline at the time: "Calvin and Vick’s relationship has moved quickly but they’re smitten with each other."
