Charlie and Georgia confirmed their romance earlier this year in February whilst enjoying a weekend break away in Scotland. Georgia and Charlie are said to have become close in recent months following her split with partner Mark Letheren in July 2022 after being together for 14 years.

A source told The Sun said that Georgia and Charlie had been dating for a few months: "They became great friends while playing on screen lovers in Corrie and when they found themselves single their relationship developed into romance."

Charlie and Georgia first met whilst they played on screen couple Toyah and Imran on the cobbles, until Imran’s untimely death in 2022. A devastated Toyah discovered boyfriend Imran had fathered Abi's baby and drove their car into a wall, killing Imran as a result.

Since then ITV viewers have watched Toyah reunite with her childhood sweetheart Spider Nugent, but it isn't all smooth sailing. The couple hit rocky ground when Spider didn't want to give up his police duties, even though it's put Toyah in danger before.
