Britney Spears reportedly has no plans to reunite with her estranged sons before they move to Hawaii with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

According to sources, the pop star's teenage sons, Sean Preston, 17 and Jayden James, 16 are planning to leave their home in California later this week with their father, stepmother Victoria Prince and their half-siblings - all without saying goodbye to their mother. Britney has been estranged from her sons for a year, with reports claiming that "communication between them began to dwindle by the end of the summer 2022". Her sons also missed her wedding to new husband Sam Asghari in June last year.

Now, Britney's ex, Kevin, who she was married to from 2004 to 2007, is planning on renting a place in the paradisal location while he and his family search from a permanent home.

An insider told TMZ Kevin was "relieved" that Britney did not "fight the move in court," adding that: "He feels she did the right thing by allowing the boys to relocate to Hawaii."

Despite being in little contact, the source previously shared that there had been "occasional texts" between the Gimme More singer and her sons, but they distanced themselves from their mother due to her frequent nude Instagram posts. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jayden explained that he believes Britney didn't show his sibling an equal amount of love that he was given.

He told the publication: "I think Mom has struggled giving us both attention and showing us equal love; I don’t think she showed enough to Preston, and I feel really bad for that."

He stressed that there was "no hate" between them but admitted that it would "take a lot of time and effort' to repair their fractured relationship." Jayden added: "I 100% think this can be fixed. It's just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally. When she gets better I really want to see her again."
