People get tattooes for all sorts of reasons - whether that be because it's something that has a sentimental meaning to them, or because they just like the look of it. This man's choice of tattoo really does fall into the second group - as he decided to get a pair of Calvin Klein boxer shorts inked onto his lower back so it looks like he's always wearing a pair.

Sharing the picture of the unusual tattoo on Reddit, a baffled onlooker wrote: "Nothing comes between me and my Calvins," referring to a line said by Brooke Shields in a Calvin Klein jeans advert in 1981: "You want to know what comes in between me and my Calvins? Nothing."

In the picture, a man could be seen wearing jeans, showing what appears to be an inked outline of a pair of boxer shorts poking out, with the words Calvin Klein written along the waistband.

In the comment section people couldn't help but share their thoughts, with one person asking: "Do you think it's just the waistband, or did he get an entire pair of underwear tattooed on his a**?"

Another said: "I've seen a lot of s***ty tattoos here, but this is the first one that made me go 'WHYYYYYYY?'." A third added: "Permanent solution to [plumber's] crack, it's a little bit smart. But just a little bit."

Elsewhere, a tattoo artist caused a stir after sharing the 'to do list' inking he had done for a client. In a bid to become better organised, the man had asked to have the unique design inked in the middle of his palm. While some thought the idea was genius, another said it might be the 'stupidest thing I've ever seen".

While the most important thing is that you're happy with the design, tattoos don't always come out the way you'd expect. One woman, who got matching tattoos with her friends on holiday, was horrified when it looked completely different two weeks later. The cute, palm tree on a beach suddenly looked like "squiggles" - and she was left incredibly disappointed.
