Kylian Mbappe has responded to a world-record offer to leave PSG and join Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal in a tweet to NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The sporting world has been rocked by the Saudi club's offer, with Al-Hilal willing to pay a world-record free of £260million to PSG while offering him just a one-year contract where he would make as much as £605 million. Mbappe has yet to give any indication that he'd join the club, despite PSG accepting the offer.

And Milwaukee Bucks star Antentokounmpo has joked he'll accept the move, with two often being compared for having similar facial features - despite the massive height difference. Antentokounmpo tweeted: "Al Hilal you can take me. I look like Kylian Mbappe". Mbappe has since quote tweeted the post, with several laughing faces, in his first acknowledgement that he's well aware of the offer presented to him.

The French side are reportedly looking to sell Mbappe with his contract set to expire next season, after the forward told his club he will not sign a new deal. The Parisians are currently on their pre-season tour without Mbappe, who has been left out amid continued speculation over his future.

It has been widely reported Mbappe has already planned to join Real Madrid in 2024, but PSG are not willing to lose the superstar on a free transfer. Al Hilal are one of four teams who are owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund - which has been reported to manage north of $700 billion.

The Saudi club would be willing to sign Mbappe on an incredible one-year deal, making him the highest-paid player of all-time, for the highest-paid fee, before allowing him to leave after just 12 months and joining Real Madrid. A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in Mbappe, but will not be able to come close to offering the salary Al Hilal can.

The club have already signed Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulilbaly and Sergei Malinkovic-Savic, and are managed by former Benfica boss Jorge Jesus. Mbappe has been PSG's top goalscorer for the past five seasons, seen as the best player in the world alongside Lionel Messi.
