Stacey Dooley says marriage isn't 'important' as Kevin has 'done it already'
Stacey Dooley has declared marriage “isn’t important” as she joked partner Kevin Clifton had already “done it a couple of times”.
The documentary maker met Kevin when they were partnered together on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018.
Not only did they win the famous glitterball trophy, the pair fell in love and went public with their romance months after the show ended.
Since then, they have bought a house together in London and welcomed a baby girl called Minnie, now six months old.
So the next natural step would be marriage – but it appears Stacey isn’t that keen on becoming the fourth Mrs Clifton.

Stacey joked Kevin has already been married 'a few times' (UKTV)Revealing her thoughts on the matter in the latest episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, the 36-year-old shared: “Marriage has just never been massively important to me.
“And obviously, it’s very well documented Kev’s done it a couple of times before, so you do have to bear that in mind. Coming down the aisle, ‘Hello everyone, I know what you’re all thinking.’”
Stacey explained marriage has never been something she’s “dreamt about” doing, adding: “I don’t subscribe to the idea that you can offer more stability if you’re married, because we know that loads of marriages end in divorce.”
And she joked her friends have cheekily given her the nickname ‘Anne of Cleves’ in reference to the fourth wife of Henry VIII.

He first got married in 2002 at the age of just 20 to professional Latin dance partner Anna Melnikova, but the pair split after three years.
Not one to hang around, Kevin had met his second wife – Clare Craze – by the time he was 24. They tied the knot in 2007 but were divorced by 2010.
Kevin’s marriage to third wife Karen Hauer, who he appeared with on Strictly Come Dancing, also lasted three years from 2015 to 2018.
Even if Kevin and Stacey don’t make it down the aisle, she is his most successful relationship to date.
They have already been together over his three-year cut off mark and not only do they have baby Minnie, they are talking about adding to their brood.

In a recent chat with OK! magazine, Kevin said: "Stacey’s already talking about Minnie needing a brother or a sister. I can see us having more kids if we’re lucky enough and it happens for us, but Minnie is a handful as it is at the moment!
"It’s the idea of them being a little gang and having each other’s backs. Me and my sister are a little gang and have each other’s backs – that’s what we’d like for Minnie."
