An extreme body modification addict who went blind after getting her eyeballs tattooed says she has 'no regrets' on her journey to becoming her 'true self'.

Amber Luke, now known as 'Australia’s most tattooed woman', claims that around 98 per cent of her body is covered in ink - which includes satanic symbols.

The 28-year-old, who has spent $280,000 (AUD) (£148,000) on her inkings to date, has a split tongue while her blue eyeballs left her blind.

Although her obsession sees her targeted by trolls and struggling with employment opportunities, she says she is proud of her dedication to what she defines as a journey to becoming her 'true self'.

On her new title, she said: "I searched the title on Google and my name popped up, as well as all my photos, which I couldn't believe. It’s very surreal and quite ground breaking, as it’s an achievement that unlocked the greatest potential for me.

"All the hard work and dedication I've put into this long journey has paid off and it's nice to have recognition of the title – even though it's not official. Now, I’m introducing myself with this and as I meet a lot of people in public who recognise me, it's easy for me to tell them exactly who I am."

Amber, who recently had her back filled in with blackwork, has also revealed her next transformation plans. She said: "I want to keep transforming as I keep going and right now, I'm working on my right leg.

"I have a black sleeve on the bottom of my calf and the shin is black, but the goal is to do it once more and make it solid. Then, I'm going to add white ink, which I’ve done before on my left forearm, as I want it to look like scarification without having to go through that.

"I couldn't possibly say if I'd do blackwork all over, as I'd be removing all my pain, tears and blood on those areas I've worked on so far which define me as a person. But it's helping me to evolve from the previous part of my life and cover up the tattoos that don't cater to my aesthetic or pleasure anymore.

"I'll keep covering and tattooing over whenever something appeases me." Previously, she shared her regret over getting an infected tattoo removed with a laser.

But now she vows to never get a tattoo removed by laser again. Amber, from Brisbane, Australia, said: "I don't believe in laser and I think it's useless and a waste of time.

"People should honestly just stick with their bad decisions and get cover ups. Laser scars the skin and it's not a fun time getting it tattooed over again, as the skin loses all its elasticity.

"It's gross, looks like s**t and I've only ever had it once to remove a very bad tattoo that got severely infected. It was a rose that ended up looking like a cabbage, but I’d never do this again."

The model, who has also been dubbed 'Dragon girl,' previously disclosed that her unique look has 'limited' her job opportunities, as some employers won't look past her image. However this hasn't put her off, with more inkings and modifications planned in the future – claiming she has zero regrets.

She added: "People ask me all the time if I regret my look, but I really don't – although I don't hold anything for the future either. I think the most important thing to remember about my image, is that everything I've done, even though I went blind for three weeks and went through so much torment and pain – it's allowed me to grow.

"It's allowed me to be resilient and to become who I truly am. The regrets would only come from an enormous amount of pressure from society saying that it's not right, but that's not the situation at all.

"My overall goal essentially is to be me, the true version, and I don’t have an aesthetic I want to please."
