BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty warned Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt he was on 'dangerous ground' in a cheeky exchange between the pair this morning.

Naga, 48, and chef Matt, 49, had a fun back and fourth as the BBC Breakfast presenter introduced Matt ahead of his Saturday Kitchen show today.

The BBC Breakfast star, who hosted the programme alongside Roger Johnson today, spoke to Matt during a live link to introduce what Saturday Kitchen Live had in store for viewers today.

Before getting into the items scheduled on the cookery show, Naga said: "It's 9.27 and we're with you until 10 o'clock and that is when Mr Matt Tebbutt takes over in the kitchen – good morning Mr Tebbutt, how are you?"

TV chef Matt replied: "I'm very well thank you, how are you guys?"

"Very well," Naga, who shared a video of herself giving blood yesterday, said before she admitted: "I'm actually a bit hungry, I haven't had my second breakfast today. I'm planning my meals today as I've got a big dinner tonight, so I'm very, very hungry."

An amused Matt then asked Naga: "Second breakfast," while her co-host Roger, 54, laughed and said: "Matt was somewhat surprised to hear you say 'second breakfast'."

To which Naga responded: "I've always had second breakfasts, yeah."

"Really," Matt asked. "What time is your first one?"

Naga then revealed she has porridge and raisins around 6.30am before having "toast, scrambled eggs and mushrooms".

"Ooh ok," Matt said before asking is Naga has lunch, to which she revealed: "A little bit of lunch, yeah. No snack, then an early dinner."

Matt poked fun at Naga's meal routine as he asked if she had a snack and afternoon tea, before adding: "You can tuck it away, can't you!"

Naga then jokingly warned the presenter: "Yeah I'd leave it there. Anymore you're on dangerous ground!" And Matt reacted with a fit of giggles.

The host continued with her amusing warning: "We don't want to go there, do we?"

"Let's roll it back, no because I know who's going to win" Matt said as he retreated in between laughter. Naga then said: "Yeah be careful!" And Matt quickly changed the subject to tell viewers what they could expect on Saturday Kitchen Live.

It comes after Naga revealed she had given blood just hours after hosting BBC Breakfast earlier this week.

She posted a video on her Instagram page, where Naga was seen still wearing the same outfit from BBC Breakfast while lying on the bed with machines hooked up to her.

"I've just done the Breakfast shift and just nipped in to give some blood, it will BE over in about 15 to 20 minutes," Naga revealed in the clip.

"I'm feeling good but the thing that makes me feel most good is that hopefully it will save someone's life."

The star captioned the video shared with her 62,000 followers: "Good morning! @bbcbreakfast work done. Now giving a little bit of me to hopefully make someone's day a bit better in the future."
