Shakira 'fast-tracking hot romance' with Lewis Hamilton as she moves on from ex
Shakira is 'over' her ex-boyfriend and embracing a 'hot summer romance' with Lewis Hamilton, a celebrity insider has revealed.
The Colombian singer has reportedly been cozying up with the British Formula 1 star, one year after splitting from Barcelona footballer, Gerard Piqué.
Shakira, 46, was first rumored to be dating Lewis, 38, in May, when the two were spotted sharing a luxurious boat ride and dinner at a lavish restaurant.
Since then, things appear to have heated up between the A-list pair. Shakira was seen at Silverstone earlier this month watching the talented racecar driver compete in the British Grand Prix, much to the delight of her adoring fans.
She was also spotted cheering on Lewis at the Spanish Grand Prix in June, shortly before it was reported that the pair was planning to jet off to the Caribbean together for a romantic getaway.

In June 2022, it was confirmed that Shakira had ended her relationship with Gerard Piqué, with whom she shares two sons. The separation, which quickly made headline news, was said to have been caused by the Spanish football star's alleged infidelity. Cheating rumours only escalated when, shortly after the split, Gerard was revealed to be dating 24-year-old Clara Chia Marti.
Shakira is understood to have now healed from the break-up, however, and is looking forward to getting to know Lewis more. "She believes in love and is very open to see what the future might hold for them," the source added.
In June, Shakira spoke candidly about the end of her relationship with Gerard - which coincided with the hospitalization of her beloved father, William Mebarak Chadid. "Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart," she told People "I was finding out through the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the ICU."
Shakira also recalled being 'consumed by sadness' during this extremely difficult period. "The man I have loved the most in my life, my father, was leaving me when I needed him the most. I couldn’t talk to him or go to my best friend for the advice I needed so much," she added.
It was recently confirmed that Shakira's father, who is 91, had underwent successful brain surgery in Columbia. The singer took to Twitter at the end of June following the operation to express gratitude the medical staff who had cared for her dad, writing, "Thank you to the Hospital Serena del Mar for taking care of us. To Dr. Hakim and his team, all the medical staff, and all of you for your supportive messages for my dad and our family."
