Jack Nicholson's estranged daughter admits he's 'not interested' in her
Tessa Gourin has admitted she 'felt like Orphan Annie' due to her non-existent relationship with her father Jack Nicholson.
The 28-year-old, who was born after her mum Janine supposedly had an affair with the actor, said Jack is 'not interested' in trying to form a relationship with her and likened herself to 'collateral damage'.
Tessa said she has never had a bond with the 85-year-old Hollywood star and he has never publicly acknowledged his paternity.
However, Tessa is said to have attended private schools which were paid for by her famous father.
"From a very young age, my mother told me not to tell anyone that I have this famous dad," she said in a new interview.
Pamela Anderson claims she saw Jack Nicholson enjoying a threesome at Playboy"I knew he was powerful and Daddy Warbucks-level rich, so I kind of equated my life to being like Orphan Annie's."
Confirming that her dad doesn't know her well, Tessa added: "My mum wanted me to have a relationship with him, but he said he wasn’t interested. I was dealt a really s****y random card, but I’m not gonna let that destroy me."
She also said that she's tried to form her own opinions of Jack.
"He's a complicated person, and I think my mum fights her own demons, and with the combination of the two, I was simply collateral damage," Tessa told The Daily Beast.
Jack has five other children. His first child, Jennifer Nicholson, was born in 1963 during his marriage to Sandra Knight.
Seven years later, he welcomed son Caleb Goddard with Susan Anspach.
In 1981, Jack had his third child, Honey Hollman, with model Winnie Hollman, but she was raised by her mother in Denmark.
The actor shares his youngest children – Lorraine and Ray – with actress Rebecca Broussard.
In a new essay for Newsweek, Tessa also said that it's been difficult to watch her dad's other children achieve success and follow in Jack's footsteps with acting.
"Having grown up without my father, I’ve sat on the side-lines and watched in frustration as other celebrity children have seamlessly secured roles or been signed to huge agencies.
Jack Nicholson, 85, looks dishevelled as he is seen for first time in 18 months"More recently, I have grown even more frustrated at what I think is a missed opportunity for these so-called ‘nepo babies’ to own their position and embrace it instead of complaining about it," she wrote.
