Bryan Adams has no doubt come across most things in his successful career, but he's fallen foul to the apparent latest trend as a fan rushed his stage in Salt Lake City.

The Canadian rocker, 63, was in the middle of wowing fans with a great rendition of iconic hit Summer of '69 when one rowdy fan took it upon themselves to take over the vocals. Ambushing the star's stage, the concert-goer grabbed the microphone, forcing Bryan to take a step back.

But after getting out the lyrics: "Bought it at the five and dime," the enthusiastic fans was quickly escorted off stage before taking over anymore of the song.

Bryan appeared to see the funny side of the situation thankfully, and order was quickly restored. With a smirk on his face, the singer got straight back into the tune, much to the delight of the rest of his adoring crowd.

And the veteran singer also made light of the situation on his personal Instagram account. Sharing a clip of the incident, Bryan wrote: "Sometimes you just gotta laugh…#stagecrasher #summerof69."

His fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one follower who was in attendance writing: "I was there! What a crazy moment! Ya gotta admire Bryan's professionalism. He just stepped back, let the crazy be crazy, let the professionals do their job, and continued like NOTHING had happened."

Another jokingly added: "Sometimes you can’t fight the feeling," while a third said: "I love everything about this. The stage crasher daring to jump up and get his 5 mins of fame. The look of panic on the security guards’ faces. You seamlessly stepping forward and singing the next line like it didn’t happen. Pat cracking up in the background. Absolute gold."

It's the latest in a scary spate of stage incidents. Latto recently called out and threatened a concertgoer for throwing an unidentified object at her as she performed during a concert in Germany.

It came weeks after Adele sternly warned fans about the consequences of throwing things at her. The first singer who was attacked this year while performing was Bebe Rexha, who was left with a black eye and needed stitches when a phone was thrown at her while performing.

An individual was arrested and charged with assault, a spokesperson for the New York City Police Department previously confirmed to the Mirror.

Others to have been targeted on stage in recent weeks also include Harry Styles and P!nk.
